I noticed now on Amazon.com that many users of Skyrim on the PS3 are starting to report crashes and severe glitches of Skyrim on their systems. It is about split 50/50 between 5 star and 1 star reviews because of this. I too thought my system was crashing but thought it was due to YLOD. I changed games and my system appears fine again. WTF Bethesda!
Yea mine has frozen a couple times, not since the new patch tho. But it stills gets clunky at times
my copy did well till the three auto saves started taking up too much room on my PS3. i believe it may be a data size problem that causes so much lag
mine freezes and gets glitchy after gaming for an hour or so. does this happen to anybody else? if so please give advice on how to stop it.
I had some minor slow down before the 2.1 patch. But afterwards, everything has been grand and I've not had any problems. Though, the game certainly seems like it would be better on the XBOX 360.
I have the 360, however, I like my PS3 more primarily because of Trophies. I feel that trophies out-perform Achievements. Don't quite know why. So I bought a PS3 version of Skyrim, and I'm not really at all upset I did, but I wish the PS3 version worked as well as the 360 version.
hey know your feelings on skyrim. if u have internet, get the patches and then start a new save file. if you don't have reliable internet than I'd recommend to stop playing skyrim immediately. i know a couple poeple with crashed and useless ps3's because of skyrim. you will be playing and all the sudden the game freezes. wait a couple hours, nothing happens. your only choice is to turn off the ps3 and restart, right? great now it wont turn back on. Or your playing and all of the sudden, bloop, playstation's done for. This doesn't happen to everyone but its really not worth the risk.
iv got all the reacent patches and still the lag/ slow frame rate issue is not resolved im getting quite annoyed at bethesda espeacially now after the relsease of an artical confirming that this company knew of the game faults on the ps3 system if they knew about the problem why not delay the release of the game and fix it i mean come on wait six years for a buggy game and expect the players not to complain about the lag what was bethesda thinking
mine lasts for about 3-4 hours before the lagg sets in and the game becomes impossible to play epsecially during combat this all after the new patch
sadly that is true I was one of the first to get my copy of SKYRIM and it had lot of glitches but didn't stop me from playing the game kicks ass
does anyone know when the new 1.04 patch for skyrim will be released as this will be a great help.
Since the new patch was put into effect anytime I put a character (new or old) in water that is knee high and above the game freezes! absolutely everything stops. Buttons won't work, animation ceases, music fades. I can't do any quest that involves water and It takes away a good deal of the game and any enjoyment I had.

I have been playing the PS3 version for a few months now and i have encountered a few glitches but nothing severe. The game is awesome though!
