Bethesda Softworks has released the first trailer teasing the upcoming MMORPG based on the Elder Scrolls franchise.

this could be sooo good, Skyrim was the only one i played but could you imagine if the storm cloak and imerial civil war could update progress with. i might have to play this.

If that screenshot is an indication of the direction this title is taking, I'm going to be incredibly disappointed. It looks like WoW meets Kindgoms of Amalur meets Elder Scrolls. Let me know when they implement multiplayer into a game like Skyrim - even if it's just four-person online parties - and then we'll talk about an Elder Scrolls multiplayer game. Until then, pass.
