Warning: I had NOT played the first game and this is the review of the demo.

The Darkness 2 is one of the more unique games I've played so far. It has a different art style than most games and the gameplay itself is fun (quad-weilding!).

The graphics look pretty cool and match the tone of the game. Its inked and dark and occasionaly bright. But the graphics pop-in sometimes(I wonder if they fixed it in the actual game).

The sounds are also fun to hear from gunshot from my pistol to my darkness tentacles mutilating an enemy(wishbone made me cringe every time). All the sounds sound great and thats all I need to say.

The gameplay is fun, from throwing a door at someone(and slicing them in half) to quad weilding and murdering bad guys, its some of the most fun I've had playing a game, and this is just the demo.  Nothing more satisfying than ripping someone apart then eating their heart(yes thats an ability that also makes me cringe).

Overall, this looks like an extremely fun and (Gameplay wise) amazing in my eyes. I will be looking forward to buying this when price lowers.
