The lights are on
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is coming out soon, and Sony has released a developer walthrough to show what's new about this Spider-Man game. For one, web slinging finally attaches to actual buildings instead of invisible points in mid air.
Also, Spider-Man can move through the city quickly by web slinging. In terms of combat, Spider-Man now faces enemies in an open environment, instead of in linear, smaller rooms.
Spidey can do his best Batman impression and sneak up on foes. But instead of how the caped crusader handles things, Spider-Man sneaks up, slings enemies in his web, then punches them in the face, which is much more entertaining to watch. There are also a ton of costumes to choose from in this new game, which will affect stat bonuses during missions.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is coming to PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, Wii U, and 3DS on April 29th. For more coverage of the game, check of Jeff Cork's preview.
