Behind The Scenes Video Looks At TMNT: Out Of The Shadows' Soundtrack

Update: Out of the Shadows' creators have reached out to us to clarify an important detail about recording artist Just Blaze's involvement in the game. He did, as the story states below, create music for the game. He only created the music for the recent batch of character series trailers that highlighted each of the turtles.

Original story

Recording artist Just Blaze is creating the soundtrack for the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3D brawler, Out of the Shadows. In the latest video for the game, he talks about his nostalgia for the turtles.

Along with Just Blaze's thoughts on the adolescent reptiles, you also get a a nice sampling of gameplay, as well as the music.

TMNT: Out of the Shadows is coming to  Xbox 360 and PC on August 28, and PlayStation 3 on September 24. For more on Out of the Shadow, you can check out the latest batch of screens here, as well as the game's announcement trailer here.

  • Please don't suck. Please.
  • Mod

    Those things look terrifying!

  • The turtles heads just don't match their bodies. I think this will turn out to be a pretty good game.. Just don't blow the proverbial pooch with this!

  • So stoked for this! And FINALLY! Someone else who gets why Donatello and Raphael are the best two!

  • The new show is pretty good

  • They look so creepy...

  • Speaking of Donny's affinitiy for technology, turtles games have been lacking his gadgets.

  • So excited!

  • Happy to hear this! As a kid born in the 80's and who grew up in the early 90's, I associate stuff like Vanilla Ice & Partners in Kryme with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Heck, I remember their "Coming out of their Shells" tour! Hip Hop/R&B music is EXACTLY what goes with the Turtles as far as I'm concerned.

The game is also looking better & better. It's nice to see some stuff that hint at a real game here, instead of just arena battles. And the Turtle designs are getting better... or at least, I'm getting used to 'em. Red Fly is a good developer, so long as you actually checked out their output on Wii. Here's hoping they knock this one out of the park too, because it's gonna be the first game that a lot of people play from them.

  • It comes out at the end of September for PS3 users? That's just not *** fair.
