Two Japanese Trailers Showcase Tales Of Symphonia Chronicles In Action

Tales of Symphonia and its follow-up Dawn of A New World are getting HD re-releases on PlayStation 3 with Tales of Symphonia Chronicles, and a pair of Japanese trailers for the games have appeared online.

The first video below is a traditional trailer showcasing many scenes form the game, now in high-definition. The second video shows gameplay with Regal Bryant, the manacled fighter who is good with his feet.

Tales Of Symphonia Chronicles will be coming to North American PlayStation 3s next year.

  • Awesome, I can't wait! I loved both of these games, and I hope that this HD remake gives an opportunity for more people to play it.

  • Cool! I liked the second game, but I never played the first.
  • Haven't gotten the chance to play much Xillia yet, how is the whole game? NO SPOILERS!!!
  • So there's not going to be a 360 release? Aww...
  • I'm gonna buy this and try to forget the second game exists.
  • Can't wait for this and Xilia 2. Next year is going to be awesome for JRPGs.

  • Wow, I cant believe I played Tales of Symphonia when I was 8 years old. I am so buying this

  • Symphonia was my first Tales game! Never had a chance to play the sequel, so this is an easy purchase.

  • My gosh...first Kingdom Hearts HD and now this? It's like my entire childhood is coming back to me...also, I thought the second game wasn't that bad. Not nearly as good as the first, but it was still a very enjoyable Tales game. I just wish they could have gotten Lloyd's original voice actor for the sequel...*sigh* oh well, lol

  • Vesperia was my first Tales game and I got others ever since. I have Abyss and Xillia. I heard many great things for the first one but mixed emotions on the second. Still, I recently bought a PS3 and I plan to get these once they're here.

  • Never got a chance to play this so I will definitely get this when it releases.

  • My first Tales game!  The sequel wasn't terrible, but it could have been better--at least for me.  Cannot wait to pick this up when it releases, though.

  • I would have definately purchased this one if it was coming out on Xbox. It looks so good.

  • Man.... really regretting selling my ps3 right about now

  • THe first game was very fun.  I never got a chance to play the second one but my Gamecube spent a lot of time spinning the 2 discs of Symphonia.

  • They have changed Tales of Symphonia HUD up. I like it, i cannot wait when it comes out in January. Oh yeah is Namco Bandai releasing an collectors edition for this game? I hope so.

  • I don't really care about the Wii follow-up, but I'm glad that U.S. gamers can finally enjoy the bonus content for Symphonia that wasn't in the Gamecube version.
