Vega is the newest combatant added to Street Fighter V's growing roster. His look hasn't changed much since his debut in Street Fighter II, but players will find he's far more formidable now, as he deploys too fighting styles: with claws and with claws sheathed. When Vega's claws are retracted, he taps into a slightly different move set with unique attack properties.

Players can switch between the fighting styles on the fly, and can alternate between them mid-string for different combos. And yes, opponents can still knock Vega's claws off. Once they are removed, they cannot be retrieved. Vega will have to make do with the singular combat style.

Vega is playable in the demo build of Street Fighter V at Gamescom, which kicks off this week. The teaser video below gives you a good first look at the Spanish Ninja in action.
