The lights are on
Fans of PS2 Japanese strategy games should take note that Atlus' Stella Deus: The Gate of Eternity rereleased on PSN this week. Check out the game's newest trailer.
If you're a fan of games like Final Fantasy Tactics or XCOM then Stella Deus: The Gate of Eternity might be worth taking a look at. The game is available now on PSN for $9.99, and thanks to the game's art style it doesn't look like it's age too poorly.

Under rated and amazing
You see children? This is why sprites rock.
Well, it couldn't have aged worse than Soul Hackers, and I loved that game.
Spites and Cell shading are amazing.
Very nice trailer.
dl'd this last night and surprise surprise, I played it when it first came out and couldn't remember it based on the title. Fantastic game and I'm glad I own it again as most of my ps2 era games have slowly disappeared/been lent out over the years.
Wow, I'd just heard of this game like yesterday and now they announce a re-release. Lucky me.
I hope it comes to vita sometime as well.
I actually own this game on ps2 and was surprised by it the story and the main character are blah but the combat and the rest of the characters are fun my personal fav Echidna.
I'll have to give this a shot. It looks like it has the charm that drew me to FFT, hopefully the storyline has pizazz to completely draw me in.
I am a fan of my xcom...this might be worth a look.
If I didn't have Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn and Valkyria Chronicles uncompleted, I might have purchased this. I need to finish one or two more games at the minimum before the holiday season comes. Then I might try this.
I have this game for the PS2. It was a steaming pile of awful. This is coming from a guy who loves SRPGs to death. It was unoriginal and repetitive. I know this is true of many SRPGs, but with this game that repetitiveness is boring instead of thrilling.
