The lights are on
A new trailer for Undead Labs' open-world zombie game State of Decay demonstrates how to distract zombies using firecrackers to sneak by and grab some ammo. The gameplay is from the Alpha version.
Game Informer recently interviewed studio founder Jeff Strain about the popularity of zombie games. State of Decay is out sometime next year for PC and Xbox Live Arcade.
I've not really seen anything on this game, but that trailer makes it look pretty fun.
Game looks very slick. Won't mind checking this out once it releases.

Finally a real zombie survival game for Xbox.
Just picked up Left 4 Dead 2 and Deadlight on Steam and I'm thinking about playing Dead Island again pretty soon. For all the games and movies that beat the zombie shtick to death, I'm still having a lot of fun with them. I'm down with checking this one out.
