The lights are on
In the first of a planned series of videos, we see some of new mountains to be featured in the upcoming SSX. Creative Director Todd Batty, and Environment Art Director Geoff Coates show off slopes from the Himalayas, Alaska, and Siberia. They also touch on some new gameplay mechanics, like rushing to the bottom of a hill before running out of oxygen.
Using NASA global imaging data and special software developed specifically for use with SSX, the developers have streamlined a process that allows them to create 3D models of real world mountains very quickly.
This is the first of what is meant to be a series of videos called the SSX Massive World Producer Video series, so keep an eye out our for more. SSX will be releasing early next year for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

I dig it...
Never really got into playing these types of games.
SSX is the only sports game that I will play. I can't wait.
its been a long time since a GOOD snowboarding game came out. cant wait
I want it now!!!!!!!!!!
Pretty awesome stuff! Sure hope EA takes this game even further.
Awesome i loved SSX3 and i have never snowboarded a day in my life(nor have I lived anywhere really cold lol) I might get this sooner or later but as for right now not on the top of my priority list but I will probably get it sooner or later
I would say this video is amazing...but it doesn't want to show up.
The world needs another Snowboard Kids game
awesome!
Why won't it load :(
Can't see the video, like many have commented already. Tried refreshing and multiple browsers.
Wish they would make a snowboarding game that is half as fun as doing it for real. If they can make this one as good as the old ones with good graphics, than im in. Now GI, fix the trailer, dog-on-it!
This game has been pushed to Feb. 14th (They had been saying January for most of this year)
Also they really need a video of 60sec+ of uninteruppted game play, I am getting really sic of the choppy (on purpose) video and the heavily CS influenced videos. Take note EA, after the first 2-3 trailers for a game, videos without significant game play footage can hurt you.
I guess people are having viewing problems...
