The lights are on
With South Park: The Stick of Truth coming out in less than a month, Obsidian has dropped an extended video showing off a large chunk of gameplay. The video also shows off a wealth of new information, including your character’s parents, hints about his mysterious past, and the importance of The Stick of Truth.
The new video also shows how much of the RPG trappings work. The new kid picks a class between Fighter, Mage, Thief, or Jew (naturally), picks from an armory of weapons, and shows what could be a pretty robust inventory system. Combat is turn-based with an emphasis on timing, much like Paper Mario. Most importantly, the clip shows that Matt Stone and Trey Parker haven’t lost their comedic touch, with some great lines from Cartman.
South Park: The Stick of Truth comes out March 4th on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. For more on the game, check out our exclusive coverage by clicking the hub below.

If they maintain this pacing throughout the game, holy sh*t it's going to be fun.
This game will be great.
I'm so done with this me and my brother couldn't stop laughing!!!! XD I'm so getting this game next month!
I Cant wait!! already have my grand wizards edition pre-ordered and payed off one of the best games ever!!
God this game is gonna be awesome.
Wow I was not expecting this to look so good. Definitely gonna be on some goty list if the story and action goes off the deep end like I expect it to. I wanna fight Saddam and Satan.
I cant wait for this game. I love South Park so much.
I cannot wait for this game... It has been FAR too long, I need this like, yesterday.
I want this game so bad. If it weren't for the on screen prompts and pop ups, I'd think I was watching another episode of South Park.
It looks like the delays worked out for everyone. No one can really say for sure yet, but it does look very good. Obsidian did say when they first got the game, that it was in no condition to be released. I'm glad they took their time to put some extra polish in and get it done right (I'm assuming of course). From what I've seen I'm glad I rolled the dice on the grand wizard preorder. One thing I'm loving right off the bat is the "sounds" of the game. The music, the sound effects of blocking correctly. I can tell there was a great deal of care put into this. I'm very excited.
telltale should do a South Park game too:)
By watching that video I have no doubt the game will be great not because of what the reviewers say because the reviewers may not like the game or anything but this game will be for South Park fans and fans of RPG's I have this game almost paid off and I can't wait to pick it up! What does everything say do you think this game will get positive or negative reviews?
