The lights are on
The G.I. review was fair, accurate, and should be your gauge when determining whether or not to download it. I had a lot of fun with this game, and I didn't think that 1200 MS was too much. (If you can get it cheaper in a future "Deal of the Week", waste NO time doing so.) All of the levels felt familiar, and I'm sure that they were remixed old school levels. Which, if that is the case, it seems a little shady to call it "The sequel that I waited 16 years to play." I'm not entirely sure because, truth be told, I haven't played the original Sonics since they were on the original consoles. This is classic 2D action, and if you're a 34 year old father like myself, it's a great way to give my 9 and 11 year old sons an idea of what 16-bit gaming used to be like.
