SOCOM Fireteam Bravo 3 Delayed (Again)

SOCOM fans, keep your safeties on – looks like you're going to have to wait another few months to save the world with your trigger finger. Today on the PlayStation blog, senior producer Mark Rodgers broke the news that SOCOM: US Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 3 is being delayed until January 10, 2010, most likely to figure out if they can fit a few more words in the title. This marks the second delay for the PSP tactical shooter being developed by Slant Six, which previously had release dates of September 16 and October 14.

Despite the third delay in as many months, Rodgers says, "The PSP title’s development is on schedule and we are extremely pleased with all aspects of the title. It’s looking and playing great." Is he telling the truth? We'll find out in January. Maybe.

In other non-news, there is still no word about a true PlayStation 3 sequel for the popular series. In the meantime, I guess we'll have to get our kicks playing some random game called Modern Warfare.

  • SOCOM is a very fun army experience for FPS (First Person Shooter) fans. A game like this shouldn't be delayed.

  • I hope these delays mean there making it better I haven't bought a new psp game since I got my ps3 but I will buy this if its as good or better than FTB2 which I still play online.

  • February 16th is the new release date. Ugh
