Developer Poppermost Productions has released a new dev diary exhibiting some of the techniques sound designers have used to capture sound effects for the upcoming skiing game, Snow. The result is something that is designed to sound like you're cutting through fresh powder on the slopes.
Poppermost went so far as to hire a professional skier and tape microphones to grind rails to get everything from airtime static to the soft "pfff" of a pair of skis hitting the slopes. Check out the video below.
