Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 - Campaign Guide

                                                                                                                        #1 – Stay Cautious

I found out that in Campaign mode you need to stay cautious by staying crouched, not sprinting towards enemies. Obviously it’s a sniper game and you are supposed to snipe, but if you choose to get into firefights, 95% of the time it will result in very frustrating deaths. This may make the missions longer, but you are never going to beat the game by getting into firefights.

                                                                                                                        #2 – Increase the sensitivity

This can be easily adjusted in the in – game settings menu. If you try to perform shots of 1 km or further (trophy for that), you can’t steady the camera unless you have the sensitivity up. For example, in one of the first missions in the game you have to snipe this guy that is forever away in a bell tower. Without the sensitivity up, you will most likely miss the shot, and all the enemies on the ground will attack and you will die in one of those pesky firefights.

#3 – Get Experience in target practice

Target Practice is simply explained in the name of the mode, as its plain and simple target practice. It does help you with the actual game and sniping tactics if you are new to sniping games. Another thing it helps with is steadying the sometimes screwy aim.

                                                                                                                        #4 – Embrace the environment

Moving around in the weeds can leave you undetected when you are prone. It’s kind of like the Crysis series where you can move around entire waves of enemies without them noticing you, and then you can move on to the next wave of enemies and do the same thing.

#5 - Follow the mission “kill order”

When you set up at specified sniping spots, make sure you follow the order in which the game tells you to kill them. Going off on your own and just trying to be a bad ass by killing them in your order simply doesn’t work, as the rest of the enemies in the area will notice and engage you.

SGW 2 is a good game especially if you like sniping, or if you don’t want a stereotypical bland fps.
