Slender's sequel, titled Slender: The Arrival, has gotten its first teaser trailer.

The visuals are vastly improved over the original Slender, and it looks like there may be at least one new character.

Slender: The Arrival is being developed by Blue Isle Studios, and is planned for release early next year.

Im actually kind of impressed...and i really didn't care for the eight pages...This would be awesome if it made it to DLC on the consoles.

First game was fantastic, and I don't day that lightly. This trailer looks like game 2 will easily match the atmosphere of the first. Definite '*** YEAH' for this one!

When you say Slender: The Arrival slowly it sounds like "Holy crap people why can't you do stuff like this THESE PEOPLE DON'T EVEN HAVE THAT MUCH MONEY AND THEY MAKE BETTER SCARY GAMES THAN YOU."

It's not a new character. Just google up Marble Hornets. Watch a few videos. It gets terrible pretty fast, but at least you'll know, that's where Hoodie kid comes from.

What was the name of that other one.... Everyman Hybrid, or something? Those guys, and their series, brought in at least one more SomethingAwful/CreepyPasta monster. I don't really know how far it got though, because those Youtube ARG's suck and got real uninteresting real fast. It would be nice to see more monsters now though. Maybe some stuff from SCP?

For some reason Slender never scared me, nor does the trailer. I'm actually a bigger fan of Amnesia, I think they play with fear and suspense a bit more.
