The latest Skullgirls trailer shows off the story without offering many concrete details.

You get a lot of interesting Skullgirls art, some gameplay footage, and a few hints at the back stories of these bizarre characters.

Skullgirls is a downloadable title for the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade that should be releasing sometime early this year.

    They look like a moderately interesting bunch of characters,though I don't think Ms. Fortune should go after the skull heart...hunting for ancient artifacts is no way to get a-head in life.

    So, the Skull Heart is the Triforce, but it only works for women. Got it.

    I really like Peacock as a character. That old cartoony style is really cool.

    I kinda dig the art style. Maybe because it reminds me of another game but I can't think of what it is. Also, I'm pretty sure the game isn't Japanese despite what people are saying, which really says a lot to me.

    Oh alot of female gamers will hate this. I am intrigued by how conservative Japanese culture is and to see them produce some of the most erotic anime. But I am very open minded female gamer and must say, I do rather like it.

    This looks interesting, but I was spoiled on Mortal Kombat. It'll be hard to view this as an indepth game with only like eight playable characters or so.

    I'd like to see how successful this becomes. If it is, I'll buy it to play online. Otherwise I'll pass.
