Well, even if those tasks are real in the real world, Skate 2 develops an Open World of The "New" San Vanelona after your character gets arrested for some reason and gets released. The gameplay is phenomenal as you skate or walk your way around this city looking for people to race, sponsor, or just to have a little skating competition. The graphics are the best I have seen on skating games, with detailed cityscapes to huge cuts and scrapes that Skaters these days have, lol. Anyway, the way to play if you are tired of going around the city is to torture your own skater with the new In-Game Addition called The Hall of Meat, which means you get points sometimes cash, to try and hurt your character as many ways as possible. Free Play is great being able to wander around the massive city without any worry, just skating for fun. Adjusting the pedestrians or even traffic of cars in Free Play is a good way to skate around without having to worry about getting ran over suddenly by a car or being chased by an angered pedestrian. Overall, Skate 2 is the best Skate game around with simple controls, great gameplay, and to see what is like to be in a Skater's Shoes.

you will skate your way to haven

I really need to hurry on this review but i need to say that skate is a huge skating game for all who plays it says gamecrow. When I started the game, I thought it was nice how they made you start off with the tutorial, for people that aren't the best at the game, now, I am beastly at this game. I have beaten it and i am still playing it, still, however trying to get the trophies, but hey, it's comin along. The graphics on this game are crisp and clean, with hardly any skips, this game is simply perfect for me, and maybe for a lot of people. I would give it a ten, but the multiplayer isn't what I had in mind. There should be a section where it should be split screeen or something, but overall outstanding game.

What in the hell is a "T.H.U.G."? It is 5 years later and the city has changed its face and is now owned by the "Mongo Corporation". They have made a lot of the city un-skateable (You can change that) and new areas of the city skateable. The feel of the game is a lot smoother with better tricks. They also dumbed down the gameplay. The first skate game was nearly impossible to beat and I beat the main story in about 8 hours. I have been playing for about 12 hours and there is still about a 1/4 of the game I have yet to finish. The online multiplayer is a blast. You can skate with others in freeskate and complete activities together (100,000 as a team in 5 minutes, hit all gaps, etc.), you can compete in races, best trick, own the spot, best "Hall of Meat" which is basically Burnout Revenge best crash sequence, and many others. The multiplayer is a whole game in itself that I have played numerous hours. You can also make challenge spots to challenge friends and online players in battles. That right there is unlimited hours of gameplay.

The graphics your typical and expected next gen graphics. They do look better than the first skate game and are definitely more polished. 8/10

The controls like the first one take some time to get used too. I recommend using the Slappy's skate park tutorial that will teach you the basics and some. Just like real skateboarding the controls take some practice. Just ask my brother. In all honesty they are very easy after getting used to them and learning how to use them correctly. I can't ever imagine playing another Tony Hawk with those controllers that feel unnatural. 9/10

The soundtrack is composed of groups like Black Sabbath, NAS, Dragonforce, Gang Starr, Judas Priest, LL Cool J, Motorhead, Public Enemy, Rage Against the Machine, Wu-Tang, Suicidal Tendencies, and many other greats. 9/10

Overall, I give the game a 9/10. The story is great. The game challenges are perfect, the online multiplayer is a blast, the soundtrack is kick ass and keeps you motivated in skating. What else do I need to say except rent or buy this one. There is anywhere from 10-20 hours of great fun online and offline+ all the *** that your going to make as well.
