New Screens Hit For Sins Of A Solar Empire: Rebellion

Sins of a Solar Empire was a great 4X RTS when it came out in 2008, and the standalone PC expansion – Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion is slated to come out sometime in 2012.

Co-developers Stardock and Ironclad have released a new batch of screens (see the gallery below) for the game, which features new capital ships, six new titans, a host of loyalist and rebel sub-factions – complete with their own tech trees, and much more.

I've only recently played the series, and love the huge scale of realtime warfare over an expansive galaxy map. So a new game? Im in.

It does make you want to dig out your old copy and play it again lol of course I will have to d/l it again to my pc but I can just imagine playing it on a 32" lcd tv! woohoo!

I have always loved space games and especially RPG's but not a huge RTS fan although this series has always caught my interest I have never picked it up. That may change with this new expansion being stand-alone.
