The lights are on

Singularity BA!

This game was developed by Raven Software and published by Activision, Captain Nathaniel Renko a member of an american military team sent to Katorga-12 because an EMP surge took out a satellite.  A second surge hits your helicopter while in transit, Renko crash lands on what seemed to be an uninhabited island.

This island is riddled with all kinds of soviet propaganda, and a rare energy source called E99.  You will spend the duration of your stay on Katorga-12 collecting E99 tech, and killing zombie like creatures that were once human but were transformed as a result of the singularity exploding.

You will also encounter some militia along the way using a few different weapons, HE Grenade launcher, Sniper rifles, shotguns, a revolver, assault rifle, mini gun, and a rail gun. These are some examples of the weaponry.

This game has a familiar similarity to Half Life in a way.  at one point in the game you acquire the TMD (Time Manipulation Device), with this you can use it as an offensive weapon, a gravity gun, and you can use it to move an object forward or backward in time, and in some cases even your enemies.  This device becomes very useful to get where your going even jumping through time rifts.

I thought the graphics were amazing, short gameplay though about 5-6 hours on the single player campaign with trophy support, and an online multiplayer mode as well.  The multi player has two modes both the modes will have you waging war as either soldiers or creatures.  Soldiers vs Creatures, and Extermination which is basically a Team Deathmatch.

I don't want to spoil too much if you haven't played the game yet but there are 3 possible endings to the game, two of which will give you a trophy for completing.  So have fun killing zombies and occasionally getting startled.
