SimCity is all about building the kind of city you want, and now that can include famous landmarks like the Eiffel Tower in the Origin-exclusive Digital Deluxe Edition of the game.

The Digital Deluxe Edition of the game comes with the Paris, German, and British city sets which include the Eiffel Tower, Brandenburg Gate, and Big Ben landmarks, among other goodies. Set these down in your city, and you not only spruce up your skyline, the surrounding buildings conform to their distinctive style. This includes double-decker buses and other unique buildings, as well as an increase in tourist foot traffic.

Note: SimCity comes out in North America on March 5. Disregard the March 8 date on the trailer. That is for Europe.

    Wow... so on top of always online play all you need to do to get the things that you got in Sim City 4 out of the box is to buy individual buildings in a DLC... exclusive DLC. That sounds great... which gas chamber do I have to line up in front of?


    To be honest I don't see what's so exclusive about it since it's most likely Origin only game anyway. If it isn't then I might get it on Steam in a few years on sale with all the dlc on the cheap and when few people are left playing it; then I can get the full Sim City experience.

    Let me guess, they will cost REAL money to purchase in-game landmarks? They were in the other Simcity for free.. is EA really that desperate for cash? ..Jeeeeeeeeeeeeez.....

    Way to go EA. Because I'm TOTALLY going to spend loads more money to get extra buildings... oh how kind of them to offer such a rewarding intensive.

    In my region, It's 80 Euros if you want to buy deluxe edition... 60 Euro for normal edition... LOL

    For the record, Amazon is offering the base game (pre-orders get bumped to the limited edition which includes the heroes/villains pack) and giving a 20 dollar Amazon credit along with it.

    This has got me thinking about DLC.  If it's not there from the start, I would love to see a wide selection of old buildings.  One of the best parts of a city is its history.
