Shows How Scary Games Can Get (in a bad way)

As much as i love the Silent Hill franchise this game is a pretty big let down... my reasoning on that is that the first SH games were all about the thrills but this game was all about TRYING to have an intrigueing plot.  Well lets get the basics out of the way, the graphics are pretty trashy which is not cool because it would look real nice having the snow come down clearly. Majority of this game is you getting annoyed of dying way to fast, atleast thats how i felt. So if any of you are "true" Silent Hill fans and dont want to be mad then i suggest to skip this one and go withe Silent Hill: Homecoming. the only plus to this game is that you can play on the Wii. If you take my suggestion then try playing Cursed Mountain.

  • Ok, the game looks trashy? Were you in a partial coma while playing this game? Even though its on a last gen system its a fantastic looking game.

  • I agree with you on the graphics. The shadow effects sucked... badly.

  • Silent Hill was never about the "thrills", unless you've only played 4&5. Silent Hill has always been about psychological horror, different interpretations of meaning, and atmosphere, all of which Shattered Memories gets PERFECTLY. Although I wouldn't expect someone suggesting Silent Hill Homecoming to "serious silent hill fans"/someone who can't spell "intriguing" to understand that.
