Suda51 and Shinji Mikami want to take you to the demon underworld and do so in glorious fashion in Shadows of the Damned. You play as Garcia Hotspur, a hot-headed demon hunter whose girlfriend has been taken by the Lord of Demons. This thread drives you through the entire game, which is about a nine...

Shadows of the Damned is a very stylish action/adventure horror title, developed by Grasshopper(who also developed the No More Heroes games)and just like with No More Heroes,Shadows of the Damned(which I'll refer to as SoTD)has a very mature style and strong sexual references plus nudity and lots...
One Hell of a Trip.

Shadows of the Damned is sort of a weird twisted dark game. Here is the basic idea, main protagonist Garcia Hotspurs (a demon hunter) girlfriend gets taken by Flemming, the demon lord if you will. He says he will take her to the city of the damned where he will kill her again, again, and again. Garcia...

I knew fate would have me give this one a shot at some time or another. I love Resident Evil and Silent Hill, and I thought Killer 7 was unique if nothing else. I think it's a safe bet that anyone who played this, and has experienced any of the titles credited to Suda, Mikami, and the score genius...

Eventually I got around to picking up Shadows and it turned out to be one of the most interesting...
Shadows of the Damned - Who Knew the Damned Could be so Fun?

I recently rented and finished Shadows of the Damned because of all the praise I heard about the game. Well let me start by saying that praise is well deserved. This game is both unlike any other game, and extremely similiar. It feels almost like Resident Evil 4 or 5, but then it completely veers off...

From the moment I put Shadows of the Damned into my system and started the game, I fell in love with the humor and art style immediately, and the game has yet to let up. The story is very well told, the humor that goes along with it is just as good. Combat in the game is flawless, I felt that the game...

A 9.25 is well deserving of this game. Your going to look at it strange for the first few minutes. I didn't know really what to think but after a few moments you start laughing at everything and once you get control of playing you are going to find that the controls are really good, the gimmicks...
