The lights are on
Way back in 1989, I worked my way through the living castle known as Shadowgate on my NES. Despite the fact that, like most point and click adventures, things were the same in each playthrough, I returned often to face the dangers.
The project was funded via Kickstarter in 2012, beating its $120,000 goal by just over $17,000. Today, Zojoi is releasing its remake of the classic title, which premiered first on Macs in 1987. The new version includes a number of difficulty levels that change the game, new puzzles, and even a retro mode that includes some of the original music.
The title is available now on Steam in standard ($19.99) and special editions ($29.99). The latter comes with the soundtrack, a calendar, and a digital art book.

I'm definitely picking this up. I loved the original and can't wait to dive into this game once more. Here's to really hoping it lives up to the original.
Sweet looking game!
I did some beta testing for this and I got to see my name in the credits! Fun game, too. Definitely does justice to the original. Pick it up if you enjoy games that make you use your brain.
