I love the saints row series. It is basically an open-world "gta style" murder frenzy. I only compare Saints Row to gta in the fact that you can steal cars and roam freely, other than that there are not many similarities. From playing a game show about murdering mascots to a zombie apocalypse Saints Row the Third has it all. The campaign is much too short but the new installment of Saints Row allows the player to choose multiple outcomes in different situations so the player is encouraged to have more than  one play through. The number of mini-game side missions has been improved from Saints Row 2. Also there is a "saints book" which allows you to access challenges, hit man activities, and chop shop activities. The "saints book" is accessed through the in game phone which allows you to use the map as well as view your stats. The most notable new feature that Saints Row the Third adds is the ability to upgrade your character, gang, vehicles and more. Yes Saints Row 2 had these features but the third has completely revamped the way upgrades are used. A player earns respect and that unlocks more upgrades that the player can buy. The ability to have a teammate bring you a tank whenever you call is very helpful for those fights that are a little too one sided. All in all Saints Row the Third will bring you hours of random, hilarious fun and is a game that everyone should buy.
