The lights are on
Saints Row IV is just 18 days away, and the team at Volition has put together the first developer diary for the title. In the two-minute video you'll get a refresher on where the series has been and a glimpse of where it is going.
There is a lot of absurdity in the Saints Row series, especially in 2011's Saints Row: The Third and the upcoming Saints Row IV. That leaves me with one big question: What got left on the cutting room floor (besides the minor stuff that was removed to garner approval in Australia)?
Saints Row IV is out on August 20 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

Every video I watch, it get's sillier and sillier. And I like it. I hope it sells well.
I teared up watching that dude streak while that beautiful music was playing.
I recently just picked up Saint's Row 3: Complete Package. It's fun so far.
you guys had me at Eagle Jet
Dev diaries are always fun to watch. SR IV's absurdity is what sold me, and it's nice the developers embraced that absurdity.
I will either rent this or buy it on a sale, I am not sure why I am more for GTAV than this... They are both great looking games!
I can't wait to play this.
Well I have to say I don't hate any of them. I did once bash Saints Row for being a GTA copy. Well playing the first one....I was proven wrong. Comparing GTAIV to Saints Row 1. Well I can say I had more fun playing SR1 over GTAIV. Then, moved to SR2...yes, please I like more Replay Value. GTAIV STILL had no replay value at all for me. SR3....okay will admit it was a bit of a step back on some things. Yet really overall. Far better models in some areas. While others wasn't great. SR4? Well just an overlay on SR3 with super powers. Yeah sure. Personally be nice if they went back to Stillwater to fight Aliens but...well I am still trying to figure out how the Leader became President after all the stuff in Stellport. -shrugs- Politics. Guess that explains everything.
