Rory McIlroy may have just blown out his ankle and endangered the defense of his Open championship, but at least his game is still on track to come out for new-gen systems on July 14. Here's video evidence that the show will indeed go on – complete even with some interesting new features.

Quick Rounds: This mode is designed so you can play a course's most important holes in a short amount of time. The video below shows the second round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational, at holes 12 through 15. The video's create-a-pro starts even, and scores applicable XP at the end of the mini-round by his/her performance. Note the commentary. There's more of it than in years past, it's more seamless with the action, and even talks about past performance.

Night Club Challenge: As the name indicates, these are hundreds of quick challenges taking place at night. As the challenges progress, you earn boosts such as being able to control the direction of your ball or having it stick to the ground with no roll off. A max of three boosts can be equipped, and they each drain different amounts of energy. Of course, the challenges themselves become harder too, with each hole ending with a stroke-play like challenge where you have to navigate a field of varying obstacles like speed pads, rings, and more.

Fewer Course Limits: This year's PGA Tour features no load times between holes as well as more areas to hit the ball into, such as wildly out of bounds. In the trailer below you can also take a look at one of the game's fantasy courses. Rory only features 8 real-life courses, so it'll be interesting to see the game's fantasy and no-licensed courses.
