Cruisin' For A Bruisin' In Ride To Hell: Retribution

Publisher Deep Silver has just announced a new multi-title franchise called Ride to Hell, and revenge is the name of the game.

The PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 iteration is Ride to Hell: Retribution (out June 25), and it tells the story of Jake Conway – a one-man wrecking crew who will stop at nothing to get revenge against a biker gang called The Devil's Hand. Although the video below is CGI and doesn't use actual gameplay, a few shots on the game's official website might indicate third-person action with some hog riding thrown in for good measure (see our gallery below).

The saga continues on Xbox Live, Steam, and PlayStation Network this June with Ride to Hell: Route 666 – a action combat tile with tactical elements. Here you'll guide a biker gang from Chicago to LA, destroying anyone who gets in your way.

Finally, Ride to Hell: Beatdown is a mobile title that has yet to deliver any info or a release date.

Ride to Hell: Retribution is being developed by Eutechnyx (Big Mutha Truckers, NASCAR the Game), and Route 666 is being handled by Black Forest Games (Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams).

  • Wow. Looks...absolutely abysmal.

  • Wasn't there a teaser for a biker game a few years back? Was that for this or did that one get cancelled?
  • So this game is trying to be a Grindhouse-style game? Seems interesting, I get the feeling this game is going to try to add executions in the style of that Punisher game from last gen. Random ass hell, but this game reminded me that I need to finish Season 5 of Sons of Anarchy, lol.
  • 19 isn't old enough? Go to hell ride to hell.

  • I was looking forward to this game when it was announced a while back... but after seeing this I think I should just boot up Lost and Damned.
  • I read an article on this when it was originally announced years ago, and have been really looking forward to it ever since, even checking up to see if anything new was said about it quite often. I hope that the game remains true to the original open world, sandbox style play that they said it was and haven't changed it to a more linear, action type of game.

  • Hmm, interesting change of pace. I'm just looking forward to DI: Riptide for now. Only a few more weeks.

  • I'm a fan of Deep Silver, but that trailer did nothing for me. I was hoping this would be a bit better. I'll try to be optimistic about it until release.

  • This s either gonna be suprisingly good or really crappy

  • I know this exists.

  • If they don't get Nic Cage in on this, I deem it a failure.

  • This was announced awhile ago. Back when DeepSilver was making their first push into the American market with games like... I honestly don't remember them (they were not successful). That horror game for Wii set in Tibet was one of them. And... seriously I don't remember. Weird to see it come back now. At least is should play okay with Eutechnyx at the helm. They're a solid racing studio. And I sincerely hope that there's some Road Rash-style motorcycle combat thrown in here. It's kind of a must buy if they include that stuff. Either way, this is a much more exciting "American targeted game" for them than Saints Row IV or Dead Island: More Zombie Game.
  • Deep silver is just really *** ignorant sometimes huh

  • Dude, the writing in the trailer is so damn cheesy.

  • Whats up with the 1%?
  • Big Mutha Truckers developer making a third person action game? What could go wrong!

  • wtf was that?

  • Hell yeah! A biker game!

FTW! (No, that does not stand for "for the win")

  • The biggest question I have about this game is:

Why the heck was a motorcycle posed over the bar? Seems like a bad place to put something that heavy.

  • Pass.
