Unique level design, frustating fun, but not a classic
on January 13, 2015 at 12:11 AM
Rayman origins was a fun game to visit, and while I felt that it had many aspects making it stand out. It wasn't amazing. The game is outright brutal and addicting. The time Trials and Lum collecting as your race to get the collectables is fun. Rayman isn't horrible, I just don't think that...
Rayman jump to psvita was successful
on July 09, 2013 at 08:23 AM
Back when I got my PSVita, the first game I wanted to play was Uncharted Golden Abyss. After that, I didn't know what else I could get for my Vita. So, I looked around, and found rayman. I remember playing the rabbids game with him in it, and seeing he is in this, I thought this would be a fun game...

Trouble is Brewing in the Glade of Dreams

Designer Michel Ancel's newest creation is an utter surprise on many levels. Not only does Rayman Origins further prove that 2D platformers can still hold their own on the current console generation, but it is also one of the most gorgeous titles of 2011. It's hard to imagine a game like Origins...

THE MOST FREAKING AWESOME GAME IN THE 20th CENTURY (OR 21)
on February 14, 2012 at 11:21 AM
If this was ever translated to the big screen, Rayman should be played Kenneth from 30 Rock, for some reason every time I look at Rayman, I think of Kenneth, for some reason they have remarkable similarities, I just can't place it. Yeahhhhhhh.
Who Needs A Story When You've Got Awesome?
on January 27, 2012 at 11:37 PM
At first, I was drawn to Rayman Origins by its vibrant colors and a chance to engage in some 4-player platforming bro-action with my friends. Needless to say, I was stunned when they turned down my offer, saying things like "It's too childish" or "Its not even in 3D". So I, dissapointed...
Multi-Player Platforming at it's Best
on January 26, 2012 at 01:14 PM
Like many platformers, Rayman Origins is a simple game. You run, jump, and occasionally attack your way through many levels. Somehow though, Ubisoft has made it addicting and fun without making it complicated. The story is a very small part of the game, but that is a good thing. You don't really...
A Great Feeling of Nostalgia
The Second Musketeer
on December 09, 2011 at 06:17 PM
In an industry filled with by-the-books shooters, adventure games, and RPGs, it's nice to see a great platformer that's not Mario. This combines innovative platforming, tight combat, and entertaining co-op to make a great game you shouldn't overlook in this rush of great holiday games. The...
Rayman Origins Review: Everybody Loves Rayman
on December 04, 2011 at 07:00 PM
It was kind of weird how Rayman Origins caught my attention while watching the Ubisoft conference at E3 2011. Why was it weird? Simply because I never saw myself playing a game starring the limbless protagonist. I do agree with Jeff Cork, who did the Rayman Origins review for GI, that Rayman is not one...

I played the demo for this game on Live last night and I loved it. It's three levels, all with different concepts. There's the standard issue jungle jumping level, the volcanic half jump-half flight level, and the water level. A platformer wouldn't be complete without the cliche levels, that's...
