The lights are on
You just can't keep John Rambo down. Five years after returning to the silver screen to man a .50 cal turret for a memorable and bloody five-minute sequence, the one-man army is back for a B-rated video game romp.
From the minds of relative unknowns Reef Entertainment and Teyon comes Rambo: The Video Game. Rather than tread new ground, this game recreates the greatest hit moments from First Blood, Rambo: First Blood Part II, and Rambo III. This new gameplay trailer features Rambo throwing police officers into trees, crashing a helicopter into a tank, and turning every enemy soldier in sight into a fine blood mist. Check it out for yourself:
Rambo: The Video Game is scheduled to release on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC some time in 2014.

nobody wants this. not a single person.
So my wife and I were watching this trailer last night. My wife is no gamer yet she asked "Why does it look like that if its now 2013?"
Looks just like Far Cry.
Is this a Xbox and PS2 game?
damn.. looks like sylvester stallone made the game
This game looks like crap. And why is there a very faint black aura around Rambo in every shot?
Adam saddler ? This is a ps2 game
OMG THIS GAME LOOKS SO HILARIOUS!!! It can't possibly sell for 6o bucks.
This game looks terrible. I mean, the visuals aren't super bad (that Rambo could use some work, though), but they look okay for a game with a tiny budget. But this is from Teyon - they're well known to the 4 or 5 gamers familiar with Wiiware titles such as Heavy Fire: Afghanistan. This explains why the shooting in Rambo here is "on-rails"... or just stationery. I don't even know what that's called... "shooting gallery" style? This looks laughably bad. I'm looking forward to a Test Chamber of the title here on Game Informer, and a Quick Look from Giant Bomb and that's about it.
Just play a Far Cry/Crysis or Batman game. Those titles understand what it means to be the kind of predator Rambo is. Teyon was WAY OFF THE MARK when they decided to make this a... gallery shooter with... cutscenes? Perhaps interactive cutscenes, with QTE's? I don't even know what this is. But it doesn't look good.
