Ragnarok Odyssey ACE
Ragnarok Odyssey Ace, the revised expanded version of the Vita action-RPG, arrives in the beginning of April.
Ragnarok Odyssey Ace is an expansion of sorts for the original Ragnarok Odyssey that released near the launch of the Vita. It expands gameplay with more options in battle, increases the number of character customization options, adds new skills and jobs for every class, and a whole lot more. Perhaps the game's biggest expansion, however, is it's length. The end-point for the game's original release is now the game's mid-point. After finishing chapter 9, players unlock the massive Tower of Yggdrasil, which has 400 floors, each of which change on every visit.
If you have a save file for the original game, you can transfer your character into Ace. Since Ace will allow you to share your save between the Vita and PlayStation 3 versions of the game, this means the character transfer will work for either platform.
Ragnarok Odyssey Ace releases April 1 for $39.99 on PlayStation 3 and Vita. The digital Vita version will cost $34.99. For more on the game, you can check out our previous coverage, as well as the PlayStation Blog's recent post on the game.
