Id Software Excels At Their Strengths, Doesn't Flop At The Rest
on October 15, 2012 at 09:34 PM
Rage is a beautiful and terrifying game. This was evident from the opening cinematic, which features a massive asteroid crashing into earth; detailed by id’s gorgeous id Tech 5 engine. The entire game’s visuals are incredibly crisp and clear. My only other comparable experiences were with...

Rage is the newest release from id Software, the pioneers of the FPS and creators of such games as DOOM and Wolfenstein. This game is id Software’s proclaimed return to the business of creating games, after being absent for a few years. Does Rage stand out enough to make it a front runner in FPSs’...
Raging through the Wasteland
on August 27, 2012 at 09:17 AM
Set in a post-apocalyptic waste, id software's leap back in the FPS foray is exciting, and a visual treat for gamers new and old. I'd liken the game to a mixture of Fallout meets Bordelands, if you completely rip out the RPG soul of both games. This may be a deterrent to those only interested...

This game was well worth the money. I enjoyed pretty much every moment the game play is smooth hand i didn't have one problem with it. Thing is when you think of Bethesda you think elder scrolls and Fallout I'm sorry but this is still like them but they don't give you a choice for most things...
Return of the Old-School Shooter
on January 27, 2012 at 02:43 PM
Many people have been disappointed by Rage. I guess they were expecting a military shooter. I bought Rage in hopes that it would be like Doom and it is. I grew up playing id Softwares games and this game delivered. This game is not like Borderlands, which to me is not much like Rage, plus Rage is way...
RAGE: The More Action-Oriented Fallout
on January 19, 2012 at 03:16 PM
I walked into GameStop around noon on Black Friday to pick up my $20 copy of RAGE. To give the employee a break, he probably had been working since either midnight or the day before to accommodate for the shopping fiasco, but he said a few words to me that I still remember. He told me not to buy the...
Feel the Rage
on November 23, 2011 at 06:44 PM
A new game came out this year. Its a game called RAGE made by a little company called id Software. Oh and by little, I mean they CREATED the FPS genre, the most money-making genre in the industry. However, I'm not reviewing id as a company, I'm reviewing RAGE as their most recent IP to break...
Thoughts on Rage
on October 20, 2011 at 06:39 PM
Rage is one of those games that has a lot of big expectations to fill since this was coming from the notorious developer id Software. Notorious because id Software is usually referred to as the originators of the first person shooter genre in video games with games like Wolfenstein , Quake , and DOOM...

The Game Store Guy

Rage Review Kid Safe: Low (2.5 / 10) Game Quality: Very High (9.0 / 10) Genre: First-Person Shooter / Open World RPG - The name makes this form of game sound more complicated than it really is. These games are characterized by the viewpoint and weapons used in the title. In a first person shooter, you...
id Software must've watched that Macintosh Superbowl commercial from the 80's
on October 10, 2011 at 10:32 PM
New, refreshing, cool, different. These are all words that describe this game. I love it, the AI are smart, the sounds are encapsulating, the weapons are diverse, the vehicle battles are fun, the minigames are fun and earn you money, the equipment and deadly toys are so fun it should be illegal, and...
Gaming Post Apocalyptia's Newest Installment
on October 08, 2011 at 08:08 PM
ID software defined the first person shooter with doom, now with the gaming community being overrun with dull military shooters, does rage stand a chance in offering something new to the table, it has guns, monsters, and multiplayer......whats makes this game so special. The Game is set in a post apocalyptic...

The Towel Boy

RAGE, A title that has been in development for quite sometime, does it live up to all of its hype that has been put into it? The answer is a mighty YES as RAGE has introduced me into a series worthwhile for everybody to get into. Now let me start with the issues of the game first, the texture effects...
Fast Paced, Smooth and Overall a Quick Fun Game
on October 06, 2011 at 01:30 PM
so i am one of the millions that picked this up (console). i have to say that it is one of the most beautifully textured games around. of course it will be soon replaced by the next beautifully looking game. i am only 8hrs in and the game is at it's core a shooter. there is very little rpg elements...
Return of the Classic Shooter
on October 06, 2011 at 12:34 AM
Rage reminds me of a mixture of Doom 3 and Borderlands. I actually cannot get into Borderlands a whole lot, but this game is great. The more I play Rage the more I love it. Gunplay is fun, fastpaced, exciting. The graphics are amazing and the game has a good length to it. Rage feels more like an old...
Just shy from being perfect...
on October 04, 2011 at 09:59 PM
I had just bought RAGE today and I have to say that the graphics are stunning! Everything in the world moves so smoothly (thanks to the 60 fps) and the character animations are very detailed. Of course, while playing the game I did suffer from texture lagging, but it wasn't too bad. The voice acting...
Wow. I'm impressed.
on October 04, 2011 at 03:23 PM
I'll be honest, I really had no interest in this game until about a week before it's release when i started watching videos and reading articles about it. And i have to admit, RAGE is one of the most amazing games, graphics wise, that I've ever played. It's a great addition to the post...
