Pokémon Bank Features And Functionality Trailer

Nintendo will soon offer Pokémon players the chance to store their captured creatures from Black and Black 2 and White and White 2 into Pokémon X & Y with the Pokémon Bank. Check out this video showcasing all of the Bank's cool features and functionality.

The Pokémon Bank launches on December 27 in Nintendo 3DS eShop. Here are some of the system's features:

  • Deposit, withdraw, and manage up to 3,000 Pokémon in private boxes online through an internet connection
  • Transfer Pokémon from multiple copies of Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, including the downloadable versions, using one Nintendo 3DS system
  • Transfer Pokémon from Pokémon Black, Pokémon White, Pokémon Black 2, and Pokémon White 2 to Pokémon X and Pokémon Y using the Poké Transporter, a linked application received when you download Pokémon Bank

  • This really should have been in the game since X/Y released but its okay.
  • It's time to pet more Pokemon we really shouldn't be petting. Like Arceus.
  • I need a Skarmory, and a Lugia. Lets get to trading.
  • i cant wait

  • Can't wait!

  • finally its almost here... still need a porygon 2, arcanine, and multiscale dragonite.

but for the most part, Game Freak did a great job of getting most of the the competitive-grade pokemon into the game already.

  • I can see this being useful when the new versions start coming out and we hit the 1500 different pokemon number.  Maybe it's time to focus on a good story and innovating gameplay rather than adding in new Pocket Monsters.

  • Lookin forward to this thing's release makin more stuff on PO Legal... hope Flying Gems are among them. I'm REALLY also wondering what kinds of things Whimsicott can do in Gen 6 that it couldn't do in Gen 5, & if it can learn any Fairy Moves once Transferred... even if only at least Dazzling Gleam...?
