The lights are on
Pier Solar HD – a Kickstarted project to bring 16-bit RPG homage Pier Solar and the Great Architects to platforms in HD – is targeting a second-quarter release this year on numerous systems including Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
The game originally released for the Sega Genesis and Mega Drive in 2010 (that's right), and developer WaterMelon is taking beta applications for the game – which is now expected some time in the second quarter of this year.
For more on the game, check out Miller's extensive interview with WaterMelon president Tulio Andriano.

Looks and reminds of me Lunar Silver Star Story Complete.
I'm probably getting this. Been watching for it for a while.
Quarter 2? Dang this seems like the perfect thing to waste Spring Break with.
just because it is a megadrive game i havent played, i will get this game and also it looks good with a interesting scenario to boot.
Figured it would be delayed when they were added to the ID@XBox program.
Does it still count as retro even if it was released in 2010 because of the age of the systems? Either way, this still looks interesting, but I have so many other RPGs to get through that it might be hard to make room to try this one.
