Watch The Artistic Intro To Persona Q: Shadow Of The Labyrinth

Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth released yesterday in Japan, giving 3DS owners a new dungeon crawler experience to pour hours into. An exact North American release date has yet to be announced, but localization is underway at Atlus, and the game is expected to ship in the second half of this year.

If you can't wait to see what happens when you turn on the game, Atlus has released a video showing the game's artistic introductory sequence. This tease doesn't give away any story details, but does show a variety of characters, and a stuffed bunny that has seen better days.

Persona Q is the first of three new Persona games that should be making its way stateside. Here's hoping we learn more about Persona 5 next week at the Electronic Entertainment Expo.

  • First of three? Silly Reiner. There are FOUR Persona games coming out. Persona Q, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, Persona 4 Dancing All Night, and last but certainly not least, Persona 5.
  • I already love that intro song.
  • Awesome song is awesome!
  • As good as all the other fantastic Persona intros. I can't wait to form my Dream Investigation Team. Also, Atlus already said that Persona 4 Arena Ultimax would be the focus of their E3. They also called out MKX and said that Scorpion and Sub-Zero were sissies.
  • I wish this would come to the Vita.
  • I wants it. I needs it!

  • I'm currently working through P4G for the first time and oh man it's great. A part of me is sad that I never got to experience this franchise when I was younger but then again, another part is glad that I get to today. I'm definitely interested in seeing more from this series in the upcoming installments. P.S. The music and intro are fantastic in P4G, however I'm not going to spoil this next game's intro for myself.
  • Hope we learn some Persona 5 info at E3 also, but I won't be disappointed if they don't since I'm not expecting any. With Persona Q out now in Japan and Arena Ultimax out in August we can expect much info at TGS in September.
  • I want this in the UK damn it. desperately.

  • I'M SO FREAKIN' EXCITED!!!!!

I just had to get that out of my system.

  • *Equips drool bucket so as not to ruin the comments section* Fantastic intro!. :Q____

  • I love the music and the transition between happy, bright colors and creepy blood spatters. XD It's great to see the casts of both games all together.

My copy shipped from Japan yesterday... Can't wait to play it!

  • So excited. This and Arena 2 will tide me over until Persona 5. Also, I can't get enough of Shoji Meguro's music. He's awesome.

  • This is all so heartwarming and sad when you realize that all this bonding takes place before the Persona 3's cast more soul breaking moments

  • YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

  • I like it a lot. Persona with better dungeons still sounds awesome.

  • Good thing I bought a 3DS a couple of years ago. Finally, I can dust it off. Also, it's gonna be strange hearing Minato / Makoto and Yosuke have a conversation if they ever do.
  • This game looks pretty cool. I can't wait to try this out. Maybe They'll do another game like this for 3DS, Hopefully a Persona 5 adaptation like this.
