Persona 4 Arena Shows Off Its Moves

Atlus and developer Arc System Works have unleashed four new trailers for fighting game Persona 4 Arena.

The game features characters from both Persona 4 and Persona 3, and below you can check out some of the special moves of a few of the fighters in the title.

You can also take a look at a behind-the-scenes footage involving voice actor Yuri Lowenthal as he lays down the lines of Yosuke Hanamura.

Persona 4 Arena comes out for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on August 7.

The art style is amazing, but I'd expect nothing less from Atlus and the Persona games. I'm terrible at 2D fighters, but I don't think I'll be able to stop myself from picking this one up.

From what I understand it will have a nice story to go along with it as well, something that is missing from current fighting games in my opinion. I used to love beating fighting games with every character to get their specific ending.

I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS GAME!!! (On the side note I love how the special moves actually look somewhat challenging to pull off, plus I also like Mitsuru's new look.)

I have no idea who I'm going to use. And this game comes out while I'm away, curses, I really wanted that soundtrack, legally. I'm going to fail at pulling off all of these combos.

I pre-ordered the game last week and am totally excited for this game. I just hope they announce Persona 5 soon.

I'm not really good at fighting games but I love Persona, so I'm conflicted about spending $60 on this game. >.<

It's admittedly hard for me to stick with a fighting game. The mere fact that this is Persona should be just what I need to get into the genre. Who knows? We shall see.

I like how they keep the moves from the game and the same effects as the one in the game as well. I can probably see Elizabeth spamming insta-kill attacks though. I really love persona but I never liked 2-D fighters that much because I always find it a pain to memorize lengthy combos.

Looks like an okay fighting game. I am horrible at remembering those long combos though.
