The lights are on
The makers of Tropico 4 are bringing prohibition era bank robbing strategy gaming to the Xbox 360 and PC this fall. The game was shown off recently at Gamescom, and our own Adam Biessener came away from the game very excited, calling it his favorite game of the show. Check out some screens and a trailer for the game below.

gangster sims?!?
Im not big into strategy but this looks pretty awesome
"From the makers of Tropico"
sold.
Soo getting this day one
Looks cool enough. Like the setting. Though, I'm not the biggest strategy game fan. A lot of my favorite moments in strategy games come from using commands to completely over power myself and proceeding to waste my AI competition.
The consoles need more strategy games! Sorry PS3 users, anytime gamers miss out on a game due it being exclusive is sad.
Am I the only one who remembers the game this looks like it's borrowing heavily from? Gangsters 1 and 2. Surprised no mention in the article. That was one of my favorite games and I've been wanting a modern sequel or a well done mafia strategy game for a while. Looks promising.
Judging from the screenshots, the game looks awesome.
This game was just announced and is being released in a matter of weeks?!? I'm amazingly excited! Adam Biessner, please don't be steering me wrong!
I have hope for this (mostly because it seems like a neat concept), but I have a sinking feeling I will be let down by a limited amount of tactics.
The first strategy game to catch my interest in a long time. The 1920's is one of my favourite periods in history so I'm sold.
Very cool. Color me excited.
makers of tropico, turn based combat, 20's era gangster strategy sim...yes, please.
