OlliOlli2: Welcome to Olliwood
Roll7 is starting a new skate session, this time under the cameras and bright lights of Olliwood in OlliOlli2: Welcome to Olliwood on PlayStation 4 and Vita.
The side-scrolling/runner skateboarding platformer's debut earlier this year on Vita and PC was fast fun, and the sequel pushes the envelope with bigger ramps, hills, and tricks – all set to the backdrop of what looks like a variety of movie sets. New moves like 540 shuvits and darkslides have been added, and reverts, manuals, and grind switching also open up the gameplay.
The game contains five new worlds (with 50 amateur and pro levels), as well as 250 new challenges. Daily Grind, Spots and RAD modes return, and they will be joined by a new mode called Combo Rush. This is 4-player local splitscreen multiplayer.
If you happen to be in London today at the EGX expo you can even get your hands on early build of the game. In Europe, the original title is also 50 percent off for the next two weeks on PS4, PS3, and Vita.
