The lights are on
Cyanide Studio is set to release a game that turns traditional fantasy roles on their head in Of Orcs And Men. The game seems to be laid out similar Hunted: The Demon's Forge. There are two main characters that the player switches between. These two complement each other with their different play styles. As the orc brute, Arkail, your main goal is pure blunt force trauma, while his companion, the goblin Styx, relies on stealth and deception.
Where the game seems the most unique, however, is in its story. In the world of Of Orcs And Men, humans are the enemy. The evil empire is intent on enslaving orcs and extinguishing the goblin race. On their quest to assassinate the evil emperor, Styx aand Arkail will traverse a diverse world, fighting in dirty alleys and across war-torn lands. As the adventure progresses players will be able to make both heroes with a wide range of abilities and equipment.
The game will be released on the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 later this year.
I like the concept, but it doesn't look very good at this stage. Hunted was crap too, so hopefully it doesn't draw from that too much.
This game is my new most anticipated game.
