The lights are on
A brand new mission and a new outfit await those who pre-order Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee New N' Tasty on Sony platforms.
Alf’s Escape is a new mission for Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee, showcasing the origins of the fellow with the fez seen on the right in the image above. It takes place in an all-new area of Rupture Farms, so even players who played the original Abe's Oddysee will be able to experience it for the first time.
Scrub Abe, a new skin for Abe seen on the left, will also be available for those who pre-order the game.
Developer Just Add Water is still trying to work out the specifics, but pre-order players should be able to pre-download the game on PlayStation 4 a few days ahead of release so they can start playing it immediately on July 22. You can pre-order the game by heading here.

Hoping this hits 3DS, or that my PC can at least run it.
i adore this series but i dont own a ps4, gonna have to wait for PC release. it's fine it's not like something is gonna get spoiled for me :P have played the original tons of times
I hope this does well enough to warrant a rebuild of Exoddus, too.
Now, if we can just get a Dark Cloud ANYTHING...
I have though that the game will be available for PS3 also because I have only seen it mentioned being available on "Playstaton Network". Apparently thats not the case then, need to also wait for the PC release.
I´m glad to see that Oddworld games are still being made, even if they are "only" remakes. Personally would like to see more new games, like the (much wished) sequel to Stranger´s Wrath or a whole new game with Abe :) Either way, still one of my favourite gameseries ever.
This might be the first digital only game I pre-order. I love the original Oddworld games and this seems like a lovingly created remake!
29.99 is a bit pricey for a digital game.. Especially with games like Valiant hearts and Child of light out there.. We'll have to see how it reviews! would have sold really well at 14.99 or 19.99 I can tell you that much.
