The lights are on
Developer Just Add Water had been struggling
to come up with a name for its Abe's Oddysee remake, but it has settled
on Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee New N' Tasty! The original plan was
to simply tack an HD on the end of the original title, but the game is being remade from the ground up, so simply adding those two letters would not have served the product justice.
Along with the announcement of the new title at the Eurogamer Expo,
Just Add Water's Stewart Gilray revealed that the game will be available
Fall 2013 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, and PlayStation Vita. You
can check out some new footage of the game below.

Yeah, this looks awesome. Looking forward to it.
This is going to be on the vita also, cool
Loved the original, can't wait for a release date!
will this be a full retail game or just downloadable? a ps1 exclusive and now xbox has it too.smh. remake is looking good. i wonder if the ps3 version will have cross buy.
Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee was one of my favorite games, and I love how Just Add Water is remaking the whole game from the ground up and judging from the footage it's paying off!!! I can't wait to re-get this game haha
If you're at all interested in this, watch the hour long stream of the panel from eurogamer, lorne lanning gives a badass speech that explains a lot of what they have done and are planning to do. such as finishing the quintology :)
Way cool news. Didn't own the original and I've been looking to play this again for a loooong time.
Very cool! This is one HD remake I think I will enjoy.
No gory explosion at the end of possesion? I am disappoint! Hopefully it's only because of the pre-alpha build. Otherwise, it looks great. The Oddworld universe is just such an entertaining and wonderfully absurd place to visit.
I never played the Oddysee games. I always heard that they were enjoyable but I may pick this up to see what all the hubbub is about.
What about strangers wrath?
This game deserves to be played by any serious gamer not familiar with it. Die hards who haven't played it should spend the few bucks on it and find out why this game works in both game play and story telling departments. I'm glad they remade this game the right way. I'm gonna get it even though they didn't call it the Big Face Edition.
Wow, that's great news! I loved this series, can't wait to play this :)
really excited about this game, one of my all time favorites
