Developer Just Add Water had been struggling to come up with a name for its Abe's Oddysee remake, but it has settled on Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee New N' Tasty! The original plan was to simply tack an HD on the end of the original title, but the game is being remade from the ground up, so simply adding those two letters would not have served the product justice.

Along with the announcement of the new title at the Eurogamer Expo, Just Add Water's Stewart Gilray revealed that the game will be available Fall 2013 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, and PlayStation Vita. You can check out some new footage of the game below.

Stranger's Wrath is still my number one favorite Original Xbox game. I really need to play the HD version.

The remake looks incredible. i havent played that game since I was 9. Never beat it. Those turret things still give me nightmares.

Cool, I also hope this kicks off a new game in the Oddworld franchise. It doesn't look much different than the original, but that's more a compliment to the original's polish than a slam on any kind of lacking on this version.

New N Tasty? That is the perfect name for this remake. Anyone who played it the first time around will probably agree. I will absolutely buy this game when it comes out. I think this character had such charm and game play while challenging was very fun and hilarious.
