Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge PS3 And Xbox 360 Demos Available Now

Demos for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge are available to download right now.

The upcoming re-release of the of Ninja Gaiden 3 gives players all the DLC that has released so far, a handful of new playable characters, some changes to the story, and some significant gameplay tweaks, like the return of dismemberment.

One cool aspect of the demo for the game, is that all earned experience, etc. from the demo will carry over to the full game when it release on April 2. You can check out the latest for the trailer for the game below, as well some new screens in the gallery below.

  • This tendency of re-releasing games with updates and changes is kinda weird imo. On the one hand, it's great that they are listening to all the feedback and trying to improve on the game experience. On the other hand, it just seems somewhat greedy and lazy, like they can just release whatever garbage they like and then casually make the "improved" version at a later date, easily scoring some more money from all the late adopters who haven't played it initially, and all of the early adopters who want the best version of the game. And all of this without actually making a "new" game, just improving upon the (rather obvious) flaws of the first one.

  • The original Ninja Gaiden 3 demo still plagues my PSN downloads list. I'll never forget the disappointment when first playing that one. To be fair, Razor's Edge looks to be a huge improvement but I can't help but wonder what they were thinking when developing the original Ninja Gaiden 3. It's hard to believe that there wasn't a single person at Team Ninja that thought at one point during development, "I think we might have to re-release this entire game so that it's similar to our other successful Ninja Gaiden titles". At least only from an ethical standpoint are they morons.
  • Cool.  I was disappointed with NG3 so I'm hoping this will be a little better.

  • i may get it when its 20 bucks!! the nerve of them listening now when everyone was begging for dismemberment. They said it was something we didn't want. now they want more cash so their giving out the version which should have been released in the 1st.

  • dl'ed it. maybe i just suck at video games but that shite was HARD.

  • Thats nice.

  • Wait, they're still making these? How far this franchise has fallen...

  • I know ninja gaiden is supposed to be hard, but not IMPOSSIBLE! Good lord this demo is unbelievably difficult

  • This looks great! I don't know who I should feel bad for...more! The people who bought NG3 ( when it first came out on the Xbox360/PS3 or The Wii-U ( for losing aother game. ) I'm playing the demo now. I'll compared it to MGR's demo.

  • ohhh god this looks wicked.. :D AYANE!!!!!!!
