NHL 15
NHL 15 marks the first time the series is coming to Xbox One and the PlayStation 4. A new developer diary from EA Sports shows how the developers are building players that take advantage of the additional horsepower.
According to the dev diary, the game's players are being built in three layers: The player themselves, as well as their padding and jerseys. The video shows how the fabric of the jerseys reacts to the action, whether it's shifting as players move on the ice or its struck by a passing puck. Players are also being designed to show more life during games, whether it's reacting to getting hit or by scoring a goal. In addition, players (meaning you) can choose how your team celebrates goals, whether it's going in for a group hug or showboating for the crowd.
NHL 15 is set for release on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on September 9. For more information on the game, check out our preview on NHL15, where editors (and hockey fans) Kim Wallace and Matt Bertz talk about their impressions.
