The lights are on
Today EA explained how Need For Speed Most Wanted will take
advantage of the Wii U GamePad's unique features.
EA has highlighted three new features for the Wii U version
of Most Wanted. The first is a new local co-op mode, which allows one player to
steer using a Wii Remote or Wii U Pro Controller, while the second player
assists with the GamePad. Assistance options include distracting cops, changing
the night and day setting, and adjusting how much traffic there is in the world, among other things.
Wii U owners can also use the GamePad's touchscreen to tweak their cars and explore the city, or play the game entirely
off-screen if someone else is hogging the television.
The Wii U version of Most Wanted launches on March 19 and includes
Speed Pack DLC free of charge.

I want local multi-player back. Won't buy another NFS until this happens. I rent the heck out of it though....
Most of these changes are just kinda superficial. . . not a big deal at all.
I'm very excited for this and it's not far away. Can't wait to get it.
Including the DLC is cool. That's the best way to release a game late, or a port in general.
I may get this. Criterion and all.
These are some nice new features! It would be fun to play against your friend and put a TON of traffic to annoy them! :P This is yet another reason why I should buy this game for my future Wii U.
Oooooh this sounds pretty awesome!
Yes! this is going to be a fun title! Looking forward to it.
