The lights are on
NBA Live has been absent from the court for years. EA Sports is finally bringing it back on next-gen consoles this fall, and we're getting our first in-motion look at it today.
The first gameplay trailer shows off the Cleveland Cavaliers and the New York Knicks. It's brief and it's edited rather than pure gameplay, but it's more of the series than we've seen in September for years.
NBA Live 14 will be out on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on November 19, 2013.

I preordered this a while back already and while I'm still getting this game, they really need to stop messing around and show a full quarter of gameplay or something if they want people to stop bashing them. They've done it for every other EA sports game.
I really hope this is good and I think it needs to come to current gen if it is to sell. I would love to play this.
I'm really interested to see how this turns out. I have really enjoyed the 2K series, but I also really believe that competition is always a good thing to keep companies working hard for continued quality.
No armpit hair? I'm out.
graphics look good but we need more convincing than this EA.....
I was a fan of the franchise back in the days of Live 95 for the Sega Genesis, but they certainly haven't given me a reason to stay loyal. While I would absolutely love to see them bounce back, I have to agree with what seems to be a majority opinion: SHOW ME MORE! So far, the most I've seen is a new dribble mechanic, and... Well... Oh, there's the... uh... Hmm... Well, dribbling seems cool. C'mon, EA. Either step up your game or stay in the Developmental League.
