The lights are on
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution is coming next year, and it adds a brand new character to its 100+ roster with Mecha-Naruto.
You can see a Mecha-Naruto in the screens below. He is designed by original Naruto manga creator Masashi Kishimoto, and has powers like robotic rocket-punches and the ability to transform into his KYUBI Mode for added damage.
There's no exact release date for Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution, other than the nebulous 2014, but we do know it will cover the Naruto and Naruto Shippuden storylines.

Foreshadowing the future of the anime series? I hope not...
I guess its a fun little thing to just add in. Hopefully he is not overpowered online.
Because why not.
Is it possible that this game may have portions from the spinoff movies? If so, that would definitely explain mecha naruto. I also wouldnt mind fighting menma.
I don't care if I don't like Naruto, I kinda want this now
Asura Path Naruto, I knew he'd get the Rinnengan someday!
What the holy hell?
That was ridiculous.
Everyone that thinks this is actually from the anime doesn't realize it's just a joke. Mecha Naruto is a parody on classic mech anime and isn't from Shippuden itself. Really can't wait for this new game to play Kurama Mode Naruto and Mecha Naruto being a in-game joke towards classic mech anime is just hilarious in my opinion. Also good to see Game Informer covering the game since they ignored Storm 3.
