Mortal Kombat X
As you may recall from our coverage of Mortal Kombat X at E3, NetherRealm is introducing a new twist to the fight roster. Each kombatant (sorry, I had to) has three different variations that accentuate one part of the move set.
Raiden’s three choices emphasize his lightning for longer combos, teleportation, or new lightning trap skills. In the video, you can see how those impact the way Raiden handles a fight, expanding on his EVO 2014 reveal.
At E3, we spoke with Ed Boon about the challenges of balancing a full roster and then multiplying those variations by three. Mortal Kombat X will be out for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC in 2015.
