Monster Hunter: World
A lot of buzz surrounded Monster Hunter World at this year’s E3. The franchise has long enjoyed a devoted fandom, but it feels like the new game may be the one that attracts a broader crowd of players. Capcom UK is clearly eager to highlight all the things that set Monster Hunter World apart, and today the publisher posted a lengthy demo of the game in action.
Over the course of more than 20 minutes of gameplay, we get a glimpse at a number of important systems and features, including stealth, ranged attacks as lures, mounting enemies to attack from on their backs, severing monster tails, grappling to high locations, and plenty of intriguing glimpses at the in-game ecosystem interacting with itself.
Monster Hunter: World is targeting a launch on PS4, Xbox One, and PC at some point in 2018.
