The lights are on
Mighty No. 9, the Mega Man spiritual successor from original creator Keiji Inafune, is coming together. Developer Comcept has released the game's first gameply footage. Previously, Comcept released this footage, but it was very early footage, and was missing most of the game's art assets.
If you're familiar with Mega Man at all, this footage will look familiar – which is not a complaint. This is exactly what Kickstarter backers offered their dollars for.
Along with the gameplay video below, Comcept has also unveiled designs for two of the game's bosses. Mighty No. 2 and Mighty No. 5, which you can see above. The latter even makes a brief appearance in the gameplay footage.
Mighty No. 9 is planned for release spring 2015 for PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 3 and 4, Xbox 360 and One, Wii U, Vita, and 3DS.

This looks pretty awesome, I wonder what kind of power ups there will be? I would like the mega-man feel but a lot more in depth. Different powers to solve different problems and the ability to combine powers would be sick. Graphics look descent too, would like this for the 3ds.
Looks freaking fantastic! It really is too bad that they can't use Mega Man in it, but it'll still be great!
This is why I backed the kickstarter project :D
Can't wait to play this.
Wow such hype.
The game looks to be shaping up quite nicely. Glad to see it will be out soon and was able to make it to all the consoles.
This is looking so good! I can not wait for this to get here!
I want some more please
Can't wait to get my hands on this. Hope it does really well when it releases just to spite Capcom.
